Experienced Family Nurse Practitioner Joins Bedford and Flower Mound Locations to Expand Access to Primary Care and Pain Management Services
BEDFORD, TX – Your Family Medical is pleased to announce that Megan Martin, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, has joined its growing team of healthcare providers. A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of healthcare experience and over 15 years as an advanced practice provider, Megan will be caring for patients at the practice’s Bedford and Flower Mound locations.
Patients can schedule appointments with Megan for primary care in Bedford on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. She will also provide primary care and pain management services in Flower Mound on Thursdays and Fridays, expanding access to comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare for individuals and families throughout the area.

Megan brings a diverse clinical background that includes family medicine, urgent care, pain management, hormone optimization, weight management, and wellness medicine. She is passionate about delivering personalized, evidence-based care while helping patients understand the underlying causes of their health concerns, not simply treating symptoms.
Her healthcare journey began in emergency medicine, where she worked as an emergency room technician and medical scribe while earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Bakersfield. She later cared for critically ill patients in Trauma Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine before earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011.
Today, Megan maintains active licensure in Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada, and Colorado and continues to focus on helping patients improve their health through preventive care, lifestyle guidance, and individualized treatment plans.
